Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on July 20, 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. As the Space and Defence Correspondent for CNN, she's responsible covering everything from NASA and its newly created Space Force up until commercial space companies, and even the growth and advent of tourism to space. Kristin's parents are each NASA astronauts. Kristin spent her childhood in space and has now employed as an White House reporter for FOX News, covering both the Biden and Trump administrations in space matters. In this time, she covered the 2020 presidential campaign, the impeachment trial as well as two initiatives to end the spread of coronavirus and two other administrations' initiatives. The president of the time Donald Trump traveled to Afghanistan for a restricted trip. Kristin was a television reporter for Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., which she won the Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter before becoming a reporter for CBS in 2015. With her experience in front of the camera Kristin established Field Mouse Films in 2014, which specialized in making documentary-style films for corporate clients, such as Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin received her Bachelors in Science in Journalism from Boston University. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and three year old daughter.
